*Trash stewardship skills
= Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
We ask everyone to separate their trash. Paper and corn cobs to go onto the bonfire; shells go back into the sea; other organic materials go into the compost pile; meat scraps are either fed to the gulls or they go into our lobster traps as bait; flatware is washed and used again; and cans and bottles are brought back to town to be recycled. With proper planning and everyone pitching in, we can feed 150 people andgenerate less than a 5-gallon bucket of landfillabletrash
NO KIDDING!!

OTHER NOTES: Bird nesting season ends Aug. 15. Walking around the perimeter of Rose Island on the beaches is permitted during the clambake. Stay clear of the dilapidated WW II buildings and pay attention to the posted signs. Please pick up beach debris as you go along. Thanks for cooperating!
